Bring the bike with you.

Most rentals tether you to a single trailhead. Extended Odyssey doesn't. We pack the bike into its folded case at our Youngstown shop, you drive off with it, and you ride wherever your weekend takes you — Pittsburgh side streets, the Lake Erie shoreline, a tucked-away path in West Virginia, your kid's college town.

Two foldable 500W models to pick from. Both are road-legal Class-2 e-bikes that hit 20 mph on throttle or pedal-assist. Battery range is 30–45 miles depending on terrain, weight, and assist level. They charge from any standard outlet in 4–6 hours.

Rent the cabin, bring the bike. The state park roads connect every trailhead — no shuttling, no parking circles. A 3-Day Odyssey covers a long weekend with room to wander.

Taking it out of town?

Can I take the bike across state lines?
Yes. Class-2 e-bikes are road-legal in every state Cruise the Creek renters typically visit — Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, New York. A few state and federal parks have their own e-bike rules; check the park's website before you ride. We're happy to look it up with you.
What if it breaks down out of town?
Call or text 330-406-9686. Most field issues — a loose connector, a tripped controller — we can talk you through in five minutes. For anything mechanical we can't fix remotely, you'll either swap a part we ship overnight or we'll meet you partway. We've never left a rider stranded.
How do I charge the battery on the road?
Standard 110V outlet — any hotel room, campground hookup, or coffee shop wall. The included charger is light and packs flat. Full charge is 4–6 hours; topping off for an hour adds roughly 8–10 miles.
Do I need to bring it back to Youngstown each night?
No. That's the whole point of Extended Odyssey. The bike is yours for the duration of the rental. Keep it in your hotel room (it folds), strap it in the truck, or lock it to a fixed object overnight.
What's the deposit and damage policy?
A $200 refundable hold goes on the card at pickup, released on return assuming the bike comes back in roughly the same shape it left. Normal wear is on us — scratches, a flat tire, a dirty drivetrain. Serious damage or theft is on the renter. We carry rental-specific coverage and can walk you through the details before you sign.
Can I extend mid-trip?
Almost always — text us as soon as you know. We'll prorate the extension at the longer-tier rate. If a 3-Day turns into a 5-Day on the road, that's $90 added, not $285 + $195.
Can I have it shipped instead of picking up?
Not yet. Right now every Extended Odyssey starts at our Youngstown shop. We do drop-off and pickup within a 25-mile radius of Youngstown for a flat $40 fee — useful if you don't have a car big enough to fit the folded bike.
